Golrokh Ghobadi: Golrokh Ghobadi (born 1956 in Sanandaj, Iran) is a Kurdish author, historian, and chronicler of women’s resistance movements in Iranian Kurdistan. As one of the early Kurdish women to join the Peshmerga, she has combined her personal experiences with meticulous historical research to document the lives of women who participated in decades of struggle.
