In this edition, the poems are presented side by side in Kurdish and Norwegian, allowing readers to engage with the original language alongside the translation. The poems have been translated into Norwegian by Essmat Sophie and May S. Haraldsen. The book is illustrated by Negin Vakily and includes an extensive and informative afterword by Trude Falch, which provides valuable insight into Kurdish history, music, literature, language, and contemporary conditions.
